Lowkey feel like I’m dating for potential with this book! Still intrigued by the plot and characters, yet the structure and tone is leaving something to be desired still for me! Time remains!

Any bad review of this book is just wrong —I’m sorry. As a male bodied person this book made me wish I could be pregnant just to see the world the way the main character does (and I’m sure how Erdrich sees it too). Beautifully written and intense as hell, yet somehow softly humorous. Important read!
