I need to keep reminding myself that this book isn’t directed towards an academic audience, but his use of psychological and psychoanalytical terms, and his constant analysis on terrorism (why does he keep doing that?) are mistaken, somewhat incorrect and insufferable. 2/5 so far purely because in the beginning he states that he hated Quran class because he had no idea what he was learning ; yet afterwards whenever he gets the chance to apply something ( mentioned Marx, post modernism, philosophy, terrorism) he does so incorrectly with various error in reasoning. it’s more of a biography so far rather than an academic book, but nonetheless contradictory to how he began
