“Pale Kings and Princes” what a perfect chapter. At last what I’d been waiting for finally happened. Simon finally stopped being a fool with Izzy and realised he didn’t have to be afraid, because Izzy is there with him and together they’re unstoppable. Poor Helen, I hate the Clave. “In the Land Under the Hill, in the Time Before” pure, pure, pure perfection. My favourite chapter so far.

Although I don’t think this chapter will be one of my favourites, I did enjoy it quite a lot, and there were some good revelations I never expected (though I had my suspicions). Now everything makes much more sense with Robert and Alec. I can’t remember if the saga ever mentioned that Michael was gay or bi. But what an ending.
