Kevin Valle-The book is still kind of on the second scene still him hustling to sell panchos so he can make money so he can help his dad pay rent for their apartment.A girl he see's he likes and he goes to the football game with her because she tells him to go but his brother is the star quarterback and all the girls shes with has a shirt with each letter of his name.

The book I am really liking.Its about a kid and his friend so far trying to sell ponchos at a football game for some money.I like the book because in the beginning the book had started off with some humor.I like the kids because he wishes about what he was to what he really is and it was funny.The dad gets a slip saying hes gonna be late on rent so im thinking thats why his dad making him sell the ponchos.

The reason I chose my book is it was about football. Many books don't appeal to me, but sports books are usually an enjoyable read for me.

I made a text to text connection because both stories involve strict parents. In my book, the dad is really strict about football, and in midsummer egeus is strict about who she marries.
