Status Updates From Suite française

Beautiful book, beautifully written, however somehow struggling to pick back up again after acquiring multiple books - it was great when this was the only book on my shelf worth reading, but now I'm in the middle of a Munro collection, about to finish Roy's autobiography, and just starting the Goldfinch (mixed feelings about the latter), it is not high on my list. Perhaps this is because it is a difficult read.
