The Shining Pyramid was another solid 4*, though I find it somewhat better than The Great God Pan - or at least more consistent and less repetitive.

The Great God Pan is still very good, but not as good as I remember. I think I only read it once when I was younger, and a translation at that, so that is my bad. Still, 4*. The cosmic and weird horror is there, and in some things I would say it's better than Lovecraft. In others though, I wish it was a bit more modern, and actually showed (rather than telling) what happened!

I'm reading this slowly not because I don't like it - I do - but because it got stuck as my subway read, and in the last week I haven't done much of that. Also, library reads with short deadlines can be so demanding.
