The third story is better. There's finally some real character development, long arc series development, and a relationship that develops along a more normal timeline. I'm hoping this bodes well for the last three stories.

Story two just as flat as story one. Boy and girl meet, have argument, then declare their undying love for each other, all in the space of a few weeks. Sigh. C'mon Debbie! Give us something with some substance to it!

Read the first story in the set. Being it was written by Debbie Macomber, I was expecting her usual level of character development. Nope. The story was so short, there was no character development at all. They meet, fall in love, and get engaged in record time like someone cast a spell on them or something. I hope the rest of the stories are a little better.
