Tracking for the short story “And Then There Were (N-One)” by the author universe version of Sarah Pinsker (IYKYK 😁😜)

Half-way through and me telling Sylvain that he should just sing her a bloody song like she asked has just been rewarded as he finally sang her a sad shepherd song from the Alps.

Finished. I was right about some of the whodunnit and why, but not the whole thing. Very enjoyable.

I was listening to it while having breakfast and doing my shopping and I’m now on part 3 of 4. I really want to know whodunnit (and see if my theory is right), so I’ll listen to the rest this afternoon while I’m doing housework. The detective is having the same sort of problems as in “The Barbie Murders” bŷ John Varley, another story that I really enjoyed.

I’m actually going to listen to Sarah Pinsker’s novella “And Then There Were (N-One)” on the Escape Pod podcast, but the novella isn’t listed on Goodreads so I’ve added the magazine it appeared in to my shelf.

I don't usually mind open endings in short stories, but in this case I do.
