"We can formally be anti-capitalists at the same time as being deeply convinced that no alternative is possible and that we have to operate within the capitalist framework."
This inspires me the idea that the oposite is true for some of us: we can operate within the capitalist framework (and be functional, formally) still being deeply convinced that a better alternative is not just possible, it's necessary.
