Status Updates From Caesura: Essays

I love the play with language, the tenderness, the fracturing of these essays. I thought I wouldn't love anything more than "What is Found There: On Beauty," but then I read "Your Body Moves You Though You Wish It Wouldn't" and the essay about his daughter, "An Eye that Never Closes in Sleep: A Nightbook," which has taken hold of me, probably because of my own relationship with my father.
