I’m not sure you’d know this was historical instead of a contemporary romance half the time, but there was a forced proximity scene that is my JAM (of course they got wet in the rain and HAD to take their clothes off lol), so I’m okay.

You two aren’t going to turn into heathens just because she’s halfway there already. Getting just a bit tired of the "I'm a broken shell of a man and have nothing to offer you/ I won't marry you or cheapen this by asking you to be my mistress but I just can't resist you" trope... I think I might need to take a break from HR for a while 😔

This book has finally found it's own feet for me, and I think I'm gonna enjoy this one :)
