I figured something was up with Flora when they mentioned the shoes in the interview with the police.
Charlie never asked for money and Flora played her dirty. She ended up being the master mind, although not a huge reveal- I enjoyed the book.
Maybe because of the loss of a parent, but I wanted to relate to Miss Quinn. A smart scholar and hard working woman.
I might read the other series by the author.

Found this Sat morn at the Fretz Library Browsing. I figured it would be a quick read on my break and I was right.
I believe almost half way through in a sitting.

I like Charlie, she seems quick witted and is trying to help Flora with the emancipation. I think that the girl is hiding something
