I really enjoyed the first in this series. But this one I’m having a hard time breaking into. I can only read a few 3 pages before I fall asleep each night. And I’m only about 20% in after reading it for 3 weeks. I was able to renew my library loan, but if there had been another patron waiting I would’ve given it up.

oh man I did not pay attention to much the first time I read this. Lerner (intentionally) wrote book 2 as a mirror to book 1! There are also more situational similarities between this book's MCs that I do not remember.
