i dont expect to get through this one very quickly or possibly even fully at all but im really enjoying the introductions + hammetts letters & notes appended to each story. really fascinating look at black mask magazine’s early years

This book's double column format has stretched out my time spent reading it by quite a bit. The one western story featuring the Op took me over a month to get through.
