Should be required reading. CPS workers don’t have enough required reading. Or common sense. We care about our kids until it comes time to care about our kids, especially our Black kids.

I stopped reading but what I learned from it was a dark side to child protection services. Sometimes competent parents or grandparents are denied the right to parent or grandparent these kids, and there seems to be a pattern of discrepancies against people of color. Sad and thought provoking.
