This series misses being great because you have a seriously reckless protagonist who puts others at risk constantly. It’s not in a flawed or cute or even immature way. Daisy is written so maturely that when she makes terrible decisions (see the pirates in book one, the wrong bookseller in this book, and hopping in the van in book three) it’s purely selfish. I’ll be happy to finish with this series.
