It’s fun seeing all of these patterns that Campbell is talking about. Not just with myths but with life which is why it works it’s why into myth. So many things - especially the number thirteen being involved so heavily in US symbolism - feels so intentional now, not just a coincidence of history.

Very interesting. I can agree with what Campbell says about how myth informs on life and the themes and iterations of them shape how we understand experiencing it.
I don’t know that I agree that issues with society are that people don’t have myth anymore. Though I see the point that myth isn’t as directly construed these days.
I also really liked the discussion on how themes change and develop w the times
