I'm anxious to start book 4, but I think I need a break. Need to listen/ read something else. Easy 4 stars.

Much as I enjoy Cassidy and Julia's dynamic, Cassidy is clearly out of her league and comes off as annoying and childish beside Julia. Julia is sophisticated and aspirational. Cassidy is not. It's a class thing. This dynamic will not work in real life. It genuinely feels like Julia is with her because the sex is good. Quite interesting as we go on in this series. I hope the author is ready to write 20 books.

There’s something relaxing and easy about these books. It feels like watching a police procedural from the 2000s. It’s so nice to just enjoy a story. I’ll likely rush through all seven books this week.
