RAIN: 2.5stars, 4 star performance by Kate Mulgrew narrating.
The heart of this story is the quest of a woman, who's lost her girlfriend in a sinister downpour, to tell the lover’s father of the lost girl's fate.
A Twitter-happy president makes an appearance, tweeting about the catastrophic change in climate🙄. 🌧🌧🌧

Well, the first story, SNAPSHOT, may have been the best of this short story quartet. The 5-star narrating performers, more than the stories themselves, are what make this book worth a listen ✧｡٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*｡🎧.

1. SNAPSHOT - A Polaroid camera, an imaginative & talented tinkering fat kid, an accomplished but unavaiable mother, a beloved neighbor & child sitter. The 1980's nostalgia is spectacular, the "horror" almost a non sequitur, and the profanity gratuitous but well pulled off by Wil Wheaton's 5star performance of this 3star story.

After reading gr friend Walter's splendid sunny skies review of the audiobook, I decided to try Joe Hill, yet again, but this time as a listen of 4 short stories instead of a print read, in hopes of a favourable effect (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶).

Currently listening to the first story, SNAPSHOT, performed by Wil Wheaton.

Bonus: With a hardcover page count of 432pgs it's a qualified entry for the LBC ♡٩(^ᗜ^ )و .
