Status Updates From Orlando: A Biography

Sama scena przemiany bardzo kojarzy mi się z nawiązaniem do greckiego dramatu, gdzie siły wyższe (w tym przypadku Prawda, Niewinność, Skromność i Czystość) ingerują w życie zwykłych ludzi.

Aha? Czyli kiedy w końcu ma wydarzyć się coś ciekawego pojawia się tekst “yyyy na temat tego etapu w życiu naszego bohatera nie mamy prawie żadnych informacji” 🙃

i just need to record the deep discomfort i am feeling reading this book because it is so long and flowery and at times stunningly beautiful but for the most part this last chapter is pissing me off. listing all the months, talking on and on about how boring orlando just thinking is.

Looking forward to rereading this; first and last reading was in 1984, then the 1992 movie, and it’s time for a revisit!
