Village of the Siren- 2 stars I think this is my least favorite in the collection. It feels both too long and too short. Not a fan.
Bullied- 5 stars I remember the first time I watched the TV episode for this; my jaw was on the floor because this is truly terrifying and disturbing. Still hits in that same terrifying way.
Deserter- 3.5 stars A truly haunting commentary on war, revenge, and punishment.

The Reanimator's Sword- 3 stars Very simple and not a bad story, but not very memorable in terms of tension or terror.
A Father's Love- 5 stars I have not been able to stop thinking about this concept and twist since finishing. Might be one of the most sinister themes explored in a Junji Ito story. I am unsettled.
Unendurable Labyrinth- 5 stars I am a sucker for cults, labyrinths, and those last 2 pages are scary AF.

The Devil's Logic- 2 stars This was a big meh one for me.
The Long Hair in the Attic- 5 stars Jump scare #1 is a rat being tangled in hair. Jump scares #2, 3, 4, and 5 in this continue to up the ante.
Scripted Love- 5 stars I loved the concept of this one and the way it wrapped everything up.

Bio House- 3 stars The concept has some creepy moments, but it doesn't hit or shock me in any way.
Face Thief- 4 stars Now, this is a concept that makes me wanna cry in fear.
Where the Sandman Lives- 3.5 stars Junji Ito's dream stories always make me feel very existential.
