A fun female character, even though she's now the wife of MC's first love/broken heart.

That I’ve never had a relationship that lasted as long as those summers here with you. You broke my heart, Mads, and you fucking broke me. You tell me why I’d want anyone knowing that. You knowing it is bad enough, but now you do. Happy?”

FFS the purple prose in this is making me roll my eyes so often, I'm getting a headache... ‘callipygian plentitude’ indeed.
