Status Updates From Down Cemetery Road

I hate to say this, but this very early Herron is rather bland and boring. The main character (not Zoe) is that sort of oatmeal middle class woman who can be a real cow at times but mostly is flat beige wallpaper. The only real sparkle comes with the government spooks running a special op...but they haven't appeared too much yet.

This book is very interesting, although not finished yet I like the way the author writes. Different plot but good reading!
