I think I will write this book a 3.5 stars. I give it the extra half percent because of the writing. It was not steamy enough for me at all!

OK. I’ve seen this in other books…where the author drags it out. At the point where Garrett gets Maddie out of jail with a pardon from the King… instead of telling her how he got pardoned he doesn’t tell her which leads to her being angry. This is where the story drags on and on. It wasn’t necessary. I still really enjoyed this book because of the writing. I don’t know that I would listen to it again.

I’ve actually really enjoyed the writing by this author. The story is a bit slow in parts. However, it is a great story. It’s not steamy enough for me. I would rate it about a three out of five.
