Angst!!! I love it!!

I’m at 45%. I hate this hero. What he does is unforgivable. He lies to the heroine and doesn’t give her his real name. He kisses her after just seeing her for the first time. He keeps putting his has on her over and over even when she says no. She tells him no, over and over. Either she is saying no and doesn’t mean it, which is gross or he sexually assaults her more than once which is also gross.

Garghhh! How did this book turn around so quickly? From well-written and interesting to the heroine full on making out with the hero's best friend and enjoying it way too much!!

Still going strongly. This author writes really well. I love her authentic prose.

Liking this so far. The hero steals a rakish kiss during their first encounter and how refreshing that the heroine doesn't swoon in a display of virginal over-excitement or worse, tongue him back enthusiastically and improperly.

I'm pretty sure I've already figured out everything re: the scandal, parentage, etc., but I like it so far so I'm going to continue. Also so I can see if I'm right. ;0)
