Mickey comes home to see caitlin relaxing in the hammock they have in their back yard. Mickey asks where his mom is at, she says that they went to the store to gets some stuff they thought was good for her. Mickey offers to cook up breakfast. Inside they both are eating and she asks about his father which he reply to her that he died in his job

Caitlin wakes up from her nap and mickey comes in too the room telling her that there are clothes in the closet that could fit her and that his mom told her take as much as she liked. He also tells her that he signs to be the father and that he was going to take care of her while she stayed in the hospital.
