Status Updates From Chord of Evil (Phineas Fox #2)

Wow! Captivating.

Finished. The various story threads have met in expected and unanticipated ways and questions have for the most part been answered. While at times early on the multiple threads were somewhat bothersome, in the end, they did come together well. Including the historical episodes from the Nazi era in Germany did allow such widening of the plot.

The story moves between the past, the early war years in Germany, and present-day England with a missing person and questions about links to people from that unknown past.

As in the first book in the series, there is music, a touch of the fantastic and much history. I'm just getting into the meat of the historical underpinnings now, but it involves Nazi-era Germany.
