Genuinely why does Regan love Colt? He’s not even nice to her, only thing he offers is intercourse and a lovely daughter. Bruh. I find it more believable that he loves her because she’s like raising his kid but even then the use of the word love is strong. Have they even had a non sexual talk yet?

I like Regan more in this book, she has more personality albeit is a bit of a Mary sue. Dr Lee is so unlikable in this though

I’m having fun. But the fmc has no discernible motivations and that is pretty bizarre and could possibly make her shallow. She is the sensible everywoman and moral correct and reasonable at every turn but she was only ended up in this position by being a complete naive Bambi. Inconceivable.

Enjoyable so far. Interesting insight: category romance readers don't mind a regular tell-not-show re backstory. And Ms Bev wields it deftly.
