I started the book last night and there was a huge amount of characters to be introduced to right off the bat. I needed to write them all down. But I did enjoy the premises and I’m looking forward to reading more.

I am cracking up over the language of academe she is throwing around, takes me back to my days teaching literature and writing. How boring and pretentious people can be, and how impenetrable the language they use, like secret codes to keep out the hoi polloi.

Started this last night, flying through...I know I owned it some years ago, and would think I would have read it, but I am laughing hilariously & do not remember any of this, so maybe not...
