in an alternate reality david said yes to adapting red dragon (!!!) and it became my favourite movie ever, but we got blue velvet in this timeline instead, which is also great (and also a big fav)

a somber read thus far; i find myself tearing up at most pages, even though they’re not particularly sad. the world suffered such a huge loss when david died… i actually miss him so much
