LYDIA...OMG!!! What have you done?

Lawd, my nerves, I need my salts. I can relate to Mrs. Bennet. The tragic events have lined up like truckers at a toll booth. OMG!!! How can this family take one more thing? And then something else happens. Man the angst is almost unbearable. Poor Elizabeth has had more than she can bear. Lady Catherine is unbelievable. Really, this Lady C tops them all.

Just when you think it is safe... Lady Catherine arrives with a warrant for the arrest of Elizabeth Bennet. The charge... murder. Everyone is in an uproar, except Lydia who thinks the whole thing is a good joke and hoping it will take her elder sister down a peg or two. Lawd that girl. Lady C is horrid and Darcy, in an attempt to protect Lizzy, makes a deal with the Devil. OMG!!! The angst is too much.

OMG!!! Collins is dead and although ruled an accident, gossip and whispers abound that Elizabeth was to blame. This is not dainty frivolous rumors. This is vicious, cruel and reputation destroying gossip that Darcy says would rival the Ton. Mr. Bennet is now faced with the consequence of his years of indolent behavior and it is not pretty. Mrs. Philips, Mrs. Bennet & Lydia will be the death of him.

Not too crazy about the cover; however, I need to clear out my TBR pile. Working at it.

I can't believe the angst meter at this point in the story! How am I supposed to go to sleep now!
