considering this is 2 novellas and I'm at 25% a bit odd there's no major crime yet.

I've read one or both of these stories previously, but it's been a while.

I just started reading this yesterday., it’s interesting, and odd at the same time.

Vincent took that a lot better than Nick had a right to expect. Pretty insulting!

Another perfunctory sex scene. So it's clearly me, not the sex scene. *sigh*

What a hoot. Lotsa chuckles. Deathless prose, no...superb plotting, no...fun to read, nostalgic, lots of sex with any- and everyone, yes. Answered a need, filled a space, made my day a click brighter.
Now on to #2.

Casual bareback sex, smoking, a noir antihero w a bad case of snark...yep.

Holy hell, the smoking is gagging me!

Little Boy Dead (Boystown #0.5): I was expecting sex right off the bat...it was 1980!...but this sex scene just felt flat, and I didn't expect that. I love the way Author Thornton draws Robert-the-boss's character. I can deffo see why someone like him wld hire Nick!
