The protagonist is a sulking whiny teenager with a dark mysterious superpower. Its very difficult for me to like him, as he flip flops between coming and going, in eternally dissatisfied pouting tantrums. This book is imaginative though, quick paced and colorful enough for a young reader... though it lacks the grit and detail that a more seasoned reader may desire in their reading.
