This author is good at writing emotion and describing how people feel on complex ways.

“I wilt against the back of my chair like an overcooked noodle.” What a simile.

I had to take a little break because it was hitting a bit close to home. It's amazing though.

I can't believe I'm already this far into it. Faith, this is a beautiful book. It feels so raw. Hesitantly hopeful. REAL.

So I just finished a book where the main character’s name was Dandelion and now I’m reading a novella with the word Dandelion in the title

Just the right amount of drama! I am invested and flying through, but there is enough hope that it isn't completely depressing. (Also, I've already read a short story sequel, so I kind of know what to expect.) The writing is very good, too!
