Status Updates From Salt Houses

It’s crazy how the kids of the people displaced from war seems so unaffected . I do hope they learn the details of what their parents went through because “the war I learned about in school” is wild to say when your parents lived through it.

My heart breaks for Atef . Even a decade later he is still doing the work to not burden his family and feel better about the situation. Him not even knowing where his brothers are 💔💔 also crazy that Bic was a worldwide pen in 1977 but I guess I need to brush up on pen history too

Oh Mustafa 💔 fell in love with him so quick and was taken away just as fast

Been reading little by little each day, traveling to Nablus for the next month or so v excited about this book 🙂‍↕️Already entrenched in the family dynamics
