Classic UF. Been forever since I've picked one up.
Some parts were decent, some awfully cliché. Lots of convenience, something happened 'just because'.
Realised I like my men to be more than muscles who growl and protect me from things, yay personal growth.
2.5 maybe 3 stars.
Willing to read book 2 as I find the monsters interesting.

I'm pretty sure I've read this before as some of the story seems very familiar but I still enjoyed this book. Badass female lead, some romance, a lot of action, and some very sad scenes.
One thing that had me confused was she's a badass female who has incredible strength and fights until she can't anymore.. Yet towards the end of the book she just kind of gives up during the main fight. Otherwise, very good book!
