Dual narration. :( Also, I was trying to figure out why I already don't like the narration, and then I realized... Despite being being a spicy romance novel in alternating first person perspective, it's got that old fashioned fantasy novel-esque narration style, instead of the modern voice acting style, and it feels so fucking stilted. No-one wants to listen to spice like that!

I think I’ve come to the conclusion that Mason is just a pushover and is too nice to people - mainly his family who are all assholes. He also lets Sexy Sherif treat him like garbage/use him when it’s convenient. Mason needs a backbone and a man who’s not a coward.
