Status Updates From Major Crush

The ending was cute enough, could have been a little better, but this was nowhere close to The Ex Games or Endless Summer. Glad to be done. Wish this was everything I wanted it to be. Also wish she’d write more rom coms like she used to and not fiction she switched to.

Wow, this book went to hell in a drum case. Hah. I hated the OW/OM kissing & jealousy. So annoying that authors think they have to do this kind of drama to have a plot. YA books can be so upsetting & unsafe w/ all the teen crap. It took too long for the breakup to happen. The place where I ended off was cute, but I’m getting ready to wrap this up.

I’ve been wanting to read this for ages. Glad that I’m finally reading it! Just can’t believe it’s taken me so long. Idl that the hero has a gf. The synopsis did not mention that. And some of the material seems too mature for a novel in this series. There’s some things that aren’t ok & I wasn’t expecting any of that. But I’m enjoying the humor. That’s something you can count on in Echols’ books in this series.

So proud of myself for finishing this in 2 days. It didn’t improve, only got a whole lot worse. I’m so glad to be done with this. I had so many complaints because there were so many problems.

I’m so majorly turned off by this if I hadn’t bought it I’d DNF. I hate this. She’s at her worst. I knew I didn’t like the band and should’ve listened to my gut and not bought this. There are so many things wrong about this, my blood pressure is rising. Trashy, inappropriate, asshole hero, unlikable and annoying heroine. It’s so irritating and there’s drama and jealousy. Sends so many bad messages.
