Not sure the target audience for this book - perhaps mid to late teens who haven't read much of anything? Feels like it's trying too hard to be something it's not. I'll hang in there but so far there is little to get excited about...

After a pretty poor opening stanza, has settled in to being an ok read. Not a glowing endorsement I know, but it feels like the story is starting to go somewhere. There is something off about the narrator, I can't trust him...
