Felt the need to mention that Sonia has landed on her face at least twice while roaming apartment buildings within a year (or so) of living in Paris.

The first time involved sliding face first down an entire staircase in front of neighbors etc.

I don’t wanna laugh at someone for this, but being on the outside looking in is enabling me af rn, lol.

Wish I’d read this, before, rather than eat pray love 100000%.

While I am enjoying the book overall, it is starting to drag. Who I am to determine how much is too much of a memoir?

Cliché that I am, the Amelie soundtrack is playing in the background as I read.

I like Sonia's simple, conversational writing style, which fits the theme.

I was not sure what to expect from this memoir, but thus far, I am enjoying it. The writing is a simple, diary-style that works well for the content. The chapters are just the right size for a quick read on a work break, etc.
