Status Updates From Like Water for Chocolate

Just watched the first episode of the HBO Max adaptation and the vibes are immaculate I’m ready to have my heart ripped out of my chest for a second time 😭

So, don’t sign yourself up for IB HL Spanish B. I vehemently want to understand this book, but, oh my heavens, it is challenging. I have to break down this book sentence by sentence to extract any meaning from it whatsoever. This, I feel, fosters a negative relationship between the reader and the book, and also fails to advance my Spanish journey as effectively. Anywho, if I go missing, it’s because of this book.
