I hope there is some action or conflict in this story. It's definitely good, and the kid I'm working with seems to like it a lot, but so far I can't see what's going to change. Still a better fit for a ten year old than Treasure Island (aka what was I thinking)

This is an interesting read, and definitely one worth knowing about to help kids understand difference. I'm glad the kid I'm reading it with enjoys it, it's definitely a good find.
