Interesting start, very intriguing I must say. I like the storytelling its feels very movie-esque, meaning the recollection that Charlie has is intertwined with the character. We’re not bound to a certain linear telling of events which I find exciting but still,

Not a big fan of this book so far. I liked Herzog a lot, but Bellow is a bit... strange in writing this one. Google Anthroposophy. He's obsessed with it. Not really a concrete plot either (but not in a fun way like in Herzog). Reads like a propaganda piece.
