The Bayes-Nash school of design
William Vickery is the origin of this school. Vickery used game theory. Paul Milgrom, Peter Cramton and Robert Wilson would for this school of market design.
pg 180 has quote about inefficienies with markets and information from bayes-nash school experiiments. but game theory still not end all be all of market design.

Sets the stage for a discussion of how economists could "calculate" and design markets, contra von mises

This feels like a condescended cliff notes of machine dreams, as does the last chapter.
