There is little in life more important than knowing how to eat soup in a ten thousand dollar dress without spilling it.

I can think of many things that are more important than that. Jesus, bible study, family, education, books, sewing, etc. I could go on for days.

Picking this up again only to be reminded why I put it down in the first place. But I will continue on.

Why are women always written hating corsets? From what I hear they are better than bras. Many dress historians prefer the corset due to it being a better support than a bra and I know of one who actually runs in a corset. They have me convinced on buying one. A real one that is made to my measurements, not a cheap amazon one.

I could think of nothing less romantic than a group of men being paraded through the palace like a herd of cattle while I picked out the one I was going to marry.

I kind of like the flip here on the Cinderella story.

Very cute, I thought this was an adult book and it isn't but I'm not disappointed. It's like a magical version of The Bachelorette.
