There have prob been several of these noteable lines through the series in each book, that just caught my attention.
Usually it’s soemthing humorous, like an alien/human diff thing.

But that’s all that’s saving this series.

This time around with this series rereading phase I’ve been doing, I actually chose to read the more honest reviews.
I don’t think I did so the first times I went through these books…

And they clearly made valid points.

- Mandi whoever the fuck this cunt is and her posse of shit human friends… I’m sure I vaguely recall Gracie beating her up, but not enough to be satisfactory to be sure.
- the aliens that raped this fmc. The gryfalas just wiped out their entire home planet(?) …that’s it???

Mainly tbh, not nearly enough retribution.

That’s exactly what I’ve felt during and after every book in this series so far.

This book, maybe all these books have felt rushed.

Rushed esp towards the end, but also …flaccid..(?)

Like the story just descends into a deep dive and plummets

I’ve not been feeling very generous or forgiving at all the entire time I’ve been through this series rereading phase

It’s slightly aggravating bc there are a handful of really good moments throughout each book, but overall, the shit writing ruins it-until that’s all I take away by the end of the books

It’s been idk how long since this book came out

With that cliffhanger second epilogue-already annoying enough. And still no book for Baskian/Tika?

I did start this whole rereading thing with book six in this series..so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that this book and book one are seriously lacking in editing.

The writing clearly hasn’t improved.

And the ALIEN mmcs are using human words like “manna”.
