Status Updates From The Secrets on Chicory Lane

Phew. I should have stopped. Not worth it, do not recommend. And it wasn’t the content - I can’t do anything gory or full blown horror and I was worried it may go that way - I just want to be clear that “the Evil with a capitol E” wasn’t the concerning part…🙄

Shelby’s father moved from their small town to another place and got an apt because he didn’t need all that space. Eddie’s started his own business called the godless time and it was about satanist. He had many subscribers and many haters. His mom then got a stroke and couldn’t talk or walk so he was her full time care taker. Shelby’s dad then found someone and they were talking she was happy about it.

This chapter is about Shelby’s mom dying of a overdose. It was also about how she had a boyfriend and she married him when she was 24 then a couple years the divorced because she didn’t want to have kids but he did. She also found out she was infertile. Then she was getting a lot of fame from her books and even Hollywood made a movie about her book.

In this chapter Eddie want to jail for going over speed limit and assaulting two guys at a bar. His mom bailed him out and she was mad at him and not speaking to him. He also confessed to Shelby of killing his own father, and he broke up with her. He broke up with her because he believed he was a evil person and that she shouldn’t be with him.

Shelby want to Eddie’s house to look for him but he wasn’t there.She was looking for him because they had got in a fight before she went to the bomb shelter he wasn’t there so she cleaned it out. He arrived later and gave her a gift and they made up. Later Eddie took her to this one place and then they were drinking beer.A guy sat with them and said he knew his father and started accusing him of the dads death

She was talking to Eddie’s lawyer and talking oh to him about the stuff to bring and other stuff. He said to bring and id and some spear change to buy something from the vending machine for Eddie. Then after she stopped talking to him she headed to a Mexican restaurant and then she hoped it didn’t upset her stomach later. She was remembering how when she went back to her parents house her mom looked worst.

On the last day of her bing in Texas she spent the whole day with Eddie. Then she came back during spring break and spent most of the time with him and then she talked to him about their relationship and how it might not work out. Then they figured something else and they had a long distance relationship. He would send her letters drawings and call her. Then she had arrived to Texas to visit Eddie at jail.
