While I often dislike popular science books (as I have previously expressed), I do find this one more enjoyable. While the emphasis still rests far from science (at least as I prefer reading about it), this book does an excellent job of touching upon the ways science (specifically phys and chem) are used for exploitation, atrocities, and other oppressive forces, particularly at the hands of Western, colonial nations.

Short and sweet.
This is a fun read, although some of the topics are only tangentially related to chemistry.
Good fun!

Breezy popular science.
The first half was surprisingly dark with nuclear and chemicals weapons aplenty!
