I’m mid chapter but I need to update, I seriously can’t tell who this book is for because in the same chapter we have main girl talking about vaginas, another girl dancing a slutty routine for a group and child campers, and also main character freaking out about Harry Potter inaccuracies in a very serious way. The tone is all over the place it’s so weird

This is so painfully 2016 cringe and over the top British and American at the same time I feel insulted on behalf of both of these cultures despite belonging to neither of them

one that will keep you imagining the lives of the characters long after you have finished reading the book

alcoholism, road trip mixed with insecurities became too all over the place

themes didnt land well and come together

there is so much going on here that nothing reaches climax and resolution

maybe because the one who is struggling is not the main lead but her mother


this once again has an open ending. one that will leave you guessing what happened to them afterwards
one that will let your imagination run wild

this did not have a lot of specifics about the mental health issue compared to its predecessor
