I'm glad Kai is gone. But I have a distinct feeling that he will be back.

The world-building and characters are great.
I like the "Atlantian" feel of the read. But it is slow after Sylvia Mercedes.

This is going well.
She has successfully escaped the city.
A rebellion on her heels.
And now a grief-stricken man intends on hunting her down along with all the other bounty-hunters.

This isn't a fast-paced adventure. But it is steady.

I am putting this book down now. Lots of people like this series, and I feel a little guilty for not finishing, but, well, I just don't want to.

Coming off such outstanding books as the last two I've read, this is just average writing, a not-that-compelling story. And prolific grammar, spelling, punctuation mistakes and misused words jerk me right out of the story and make me want to throw my Kindle out the window.
